The finished product received positive feedback from both students and other ICT teachers who used the revision package. However, I decided to remove the humorous videos as they were becoming too much of a distraction.

The best indicator of success was that exam results improved, an increase in pass rate of over 28%. It was also recorded in an official Ofsted report of my department the following year which stated,

“Teachers use a good range of learning resources. For example, during revision lessons, pupils were using an interactive CD ROM prepared by the teachers in the school to help them revise the information in a more interesting way”.

The following year, BBC Bitesize updated their website to include Information Technology.
